Use of Artificial Intelligence
This document explains how Advance.hr uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools. AI tools may be used solely as auxiliary technologies for research and analytical preparation, while writing, editing, and final editorial decisions remain entirely in human hands.
1. Introduction
This document describes the principles and limitations regarding the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the work of Advance.hr. We transparently explain when and how AI may be used, while emphasizing that all key decisions, writing, and editing of content remain exclusively in the hands of the editorial team.
2. AI as an Auxiliary Tool
We use AI solely as an auxiliary tool in the following situations:
- researching basic information and finding relevant sources
- searching large amounts of data in order to find context more quickly
- language checks, grammar corrections, and stylistic suggestions
- suggestions for the structure or organization of a text
In these situations, AI is used as a tool that facilitates technical and preparatory processes, but it does not replace journalistic or editorial work.
3. AI Is Not Used to Write Articles
Advance.hr does not use artificial intelligence systems to write articles, analyses, commentaries, or reports. Content published on the portal is written exclusively by people: authors, analysts, and editors who take full professional responsibility for their work.
4. AI Is Not a Source of Truth
Data generated by AI tools is not treated as fact or as reliable information. AI systems may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. All claims obtained through AI technology are subject to a strict fact-checking process, just like any other source of information.
5. Human Responsibility and Editorial Control
All information, interpretations, conclusions, and complete texts go through editorial review. Authors and editors are responsible for:
- verifying the accuracy of information
- providing contextual interpretation of data
- final editing of content
- the decision to publish
AI tools do not have access to the publishing system and cannot independently generate or modify content.
6. Privacy Protection and Security
When using AI technologies, we respect the principles of privacy and data protection. We do not send sensitive or confidential information to third-party systems, and we use AI only within frameworks that are compliant with GDPR and internal security protocols.
7. Principles of Ethical AI Use
We use AI responsibly and in accordance with:
- the principles of professional journalism
- the ethics of source protection and privacy
- the principles of transparency toward readers
- the principle that AI must never influence editorial independence
8. Limitations of AI Technologies
AI tools may:
- generate errors or inaccurate information
- have a limited understanding of context
- be subject to model bias
For this reason, AI-generated content is never used without human verification and is never presented as the final truth.
9. Transparency Toward Readers
Advance.hr is committed to clearly indicating when AI technology has been used in a technical sense during the preparation of a text. AI is never used as a substitute for journalistic work, but only as assistance with simple and repetitive tasks that do not affect the substantive value of an article.
10. Changes to the Document
This document may be updated to reflect the development of AI technologies, new ethical standards, or editorial protocols. All changes will be published in a timely manner on this page.
