As a media outlet from Croatia — a country that is not a geopolitical power — we are able to observe global developments without the pressure of major political blocs, which allows us an additional level of objectivity and focus.

We strive to create a space in which complex global processes can be understood without sensationalism, superficiality, and the noise of day-to-day politics. Advance.hr established itself as a political and analytical project in 2011, at a time when global conflicts in North Africa and the Middle East required an additional level of verification and independent interpretation. From that experience arose the need for a media outlet whose analyses would be based on facts rather than interests. Over the years, the authorial team has evolved, but our fundamental editorial orientation has remained the same.
