Forum Rules

This page defines the rules of conduct, moderation, and content posting on the Advance.hr forum, as well as users’ obligations in accordance with the law and the portal’s internal rules.

1. Introduction

The Advance.hr forum is intended for registered users who wish to participate in discussions, exchange opinions, and contribute to the community. The forum rules are established to ensure constructive, safe, and respectful communication.

2. Rules of Conduct

Users are expected to observe:

  • mutual respect and polite communication
  • reasoned discussion without personal attacks
  • staying on the topic of the open discussion
  • respect for different views, without insults or belittling
  • compliance with legal and ethical standards

3. Prohibited Content

The following are not permitted on the forum:

  • hate speech, incitement to violence, or discrimination
  • threats against other users, authors, administrators, or editors
  • publishing other people’s personal data (doxxing)
  • pornographic, illegal, obscene, or disturbing content
  • publishing false information and deliberate deception
  • trolling, provoking, and deliberately disrupting discussions
  • spam, advertisements, sales, and advertising of any kind
  • copyright infringement and publishing materials without permission
  • writing in a script other than Latin script
  • posting links to illegal content
  • impersonating other accounts or using an inappropriate username

4. Moderation and Content Removal

Moderators have the right to:

  • remove posts that violate the rules
  • lock topics that get out of control
  • move posts to the appropriate topics
  • warn or sanction a user
  • temporarily or permanently restrict access to the forum

Moderation may be carried out without prior warning if the violation is serious.

5. Sanctions

In the event of rule violations:

  • serious violations, such as hate speech or threats – suspension for at least 14 days
  • repeated violations – permanent exclusion from the forum
  • spam and off-topic content – temporary suspension for 48 hours
  • impersonating other users – immediate permanent exclusion

A user may have only one account. Multiple accounts will be permanently excluded.

6. Opening Topics

Users who open new topics should:

  • provide a clear and precise title
  • describe the topic and purpose of the discussion
  • choose the appropriate forum category
  • avoid duplicating existing topics

7. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for their own posts. Publishing illegal content may have criminal-law consequences under the laws of the Republic of Croatia.

8. Reporting Inappropriate Content

If you notice a post that violates the rules, you may report it to the administrators. When submitting a report, please:

  • provide a link to the topic
  • describe the violation
  • identify the user to whom the report refers

9. Role of Administrators and the Editorial Team

The administrators and editorial team of Advance.hr reserve the right to:

  • remove content that violates the law or forum rules
  • edit or rename topics for clarity
  • intervene in order to preserve a constructive atmosphere

10. Changes to the Rules

The forum rules may be updated according to the needs of the community, technical requirements, or changes in the law. The latest version will always be available on this page.
